Artifacts Aired Colouring Competition

If you're planning a visit to the Front Room Gallery over the next couple of weeks, be sure to enter our colouring in competition and become a part of our exhibition! We have 3 fantastic prizes to give away (for kids and art students alike), so be sure to leave your name and contact information on the back and judging will take place on Friday 22 June, 2012.

The image on our colouring sheet is inspired by one of our exhibits, Gareth Sansom's DESTRUKTION, from the collection of Michael Bell and Claire Martin.

Gareth Sansom, DESTRUKTION, 1995, 90 x 120cm, from the collection of Michael Bell & Claire Martin

Gareth Sansom is an Australian artist and a major contributor to the Australian art scene since the mid 1960s, introducing new themes and being one of the first Australian artists to be influenced by Pop art. This etching was produced at the Australian Print Workshop (APW) in Melbourne - Australia's leading printmaking institution, and is a very exciting piece for us to be able to exhibit in our collection of collections.
